Subject Leaders support trainees by providing training that focuses on how to approach a range of educational issues from the perspective of a subject specialist. The Subject Studies programme complements the topics covered by academic tutors, but with a particular focus on how to approach this within their subject specialism. Subject Leaders also provide additional support and monitoring while trainees are on placement.
